Afghanistan’s Imports and Exports
Afghanistan gets most of it money from importing and exporting goods to over 9 different counties around the world. Afghanistan major imports are Telephones (15%), Parts and accessories of the motor vehicles (9%), Automatic data processing machines (7%), Instruments and apparatus for physical or chemical analysis (5%), Other tubes and pipes of iron or steel (5%). There imports are worth almost $1 billion dollars. They spend a lot of money on telephones, they spend right around $140 million dollars on them alone and most of them come from the United States. We are giving a lot of that money back to them since we are buying things from them as well.
Afghanistan's exports makes money for them too the major exports are Cotton raw (11%), Grapes (8%), Other nuts (7%), Dates, figs, pineapples, avocados, guavas and mangoes (6%), Lac (6%). They make around 600 million dollars for the exports that they sell to other countries. The major countries that they sell exports to are Pakistan (25%), India (24%), Nigeria (18%), United States (4%), Germany (4%). There major export of Afghanistan is Raw Cotton they make over $61 million dollars on exporting it.
